Lifechain – Campaign Life Coalition

“It is a poverty to decide that a child must die so that you may live as you wish.”

St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Two weekends ago Our Family attended the Lifechain in a nearby city. Sadly my own parish does not promote this yearly event that brings attention to the deaths of unborn children around the world.

There are various reactions towards the participants from honking of car horns for support to ridicule and what can only be described as demonic anger.

So, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I am about to spit you out of my mouth.

Revelation 3:16 – NRSV Bible

The most thought provoking though is the apathy which the majority of passer’s by exhibit. You’ll sometimes get a quick glance and then the “look away as though you didn’t see them”. Usually it’s the completely oblivious aloof drivers and passengers that could care less.

Author: Bad Catholic Dad

I'm a Husband and a Father of 3 quickly growing little ones and Step-Father to 3 already grown "little" ones. My goal is to share and to testify about my journey as a Catholic Husband and Father in this World where false idols have been made the centre of peoples lives. I dislike terms like liberal and/or traditional when it comes to identifying Catholics as I believe it attempts to force a Faith so beautiful, rich and powerful into a tiny box. I have worked with Technology in various roles and responsibilities for the past 25 years and have now only started to use my God given gifts to share my experiences in the "Hospital for Sinners".
